How long has that existed? I have never heard of it before but it sounds like an absolute mid size game crusher!
I grew up on a farm, slaughtering beef, pigs and chickens. It was putting meat on the table. Same with deer hunting and stalk/still hunting, the only thing which worked or allowed by law where I was in those times. It was never fun, but served me in good stead in the Army. In later years with my place in wooded rolling hills of mid-state GA, would "hunt" with a friend from his back porch who always remarked it hardly seemed like hunting when we could smell the coffee from the house. When he visited me I would have two chairs set up out back with the wind in our favor at the head of a lane deer always crossed about 30yds out, and had a small table between the chairs with a carafe of hot coffee, and he would say again that it hardly seemed like hunting when you could smell the coffee from the house, and I'd reply, "Indeed," as we sipped our coffee. He often used his Contender .45-70 while I swapped between a .58 musket, 32WCF 1892 and my .45 Colt Blackhawk. It was simply a trip to the grocery store.

I had to look in the book case. I have a knife exactly like that I bought in the 70's, sometime from about 7th or 8th grade. I think it cost under $10.00. Mine is a Camillus USAF type, I lost my sheath and stone early on. I does have the early camillus markings dating it to the 1960's. It must have set in the Hardware store I purchased it from for a little while. You could still purchase single 22 shells from the store when I was a kid. The 6 in. blades are usually in the $200.00 range. Mine is a 5 inch, they hover in $80-100.00 range.
Was looking through my ammo stash last night. I accumulate a lot of odd ammo, some I've got guns for and some I don't. Getting down to my last few rounds of .350rem mag. I bought lots of brass and dies when I bought the gun 20y ago. I'm still shooting the two boxes of factory I bought though at the same time at $29. Looks like I'll be reloading for sure lol.......
I’m pretty sure my 308 handloads are costing me less than 50 cents a shot, but I bought the components when GW Bush was president.
