30-30 loads?

Just picked up some of the new FTX hornady bullets that are used in the leverevolution ammo. Anyone got a suggestion on a good powder and load data to get anywhere close to the 2400 fps the factory loads claim?

160 GR. HDY FTX
IMR IMR 8208 XBR
.308" 2.540"
30.0gr 2214 fps 39,900 CUP
33.0gr 2386 fps 46,500 CUP

Just remember, Hornady used a test barrel of a particular length to obtain their data, as did Hodgdon. If your rifle does not exactly match their test barrel you may not get the same results.
As always start below max and work up.

I was just doing a cut-n-paste from Hdgdon's website.

But for .30-30 to be used in a tubular magazine I always apply a good roll crimp.

I have had good luck with 3031 & use a lee factory crimp die
