If it is a SIG, I will go for it. I was trying to get one from anyone in a commander size, alloy frame for a carry years ago. Finally, in February of 2003, Kimber had some Pro Carry's in 40 S&W left in the warehouse ( which they had discontinued at that time) and the Pro Shop made a barrel for in it 357SIG. Still have the gun to this day.

folks been building 357sig 1911's since they came out with the caliber.

If you want a lil more speed and better inherent reliability, 9x23 is the ticket

Yeah, but G'Luck finding ammo. That being said, I still want a 9 X 23 1911 some day. :D

You can get ammo anywhere, it's not the cheapest, but it's really everywhere. Would love one in 357 sig, would work well with my P229 SAS. But I think mike is right, the 9X23 is mo betta and a straight case

Not here, only place that had more than a box here in Tulsa is Dongs. On the other hand .357sig is easy to find.
