Thats me on the right and my buddy who helped install it. Hes a certified lift installer.

Dude. that lift looks stout. Still. If I was wanting to store a car on one semi permanently I think I'd feel more comfortable with a 4 poster wouldn't you?.

4-post lifts are typically sold as service/storage lifts, they are designed for long-term storage and service work. PLus, a 2-post relies on the user to ensure the vehicle is balanced. Look up lift accidents on youtube.

I have a two post and use it to store a car in the air no problem. I also wish I had a 4 post too. You won't be sorry anyway you go. Best money ever spent.

If I could only have one, I would want a 4-post with casters. I moved mine from the old shop to the new shop just dragging down the road on the casters (private street, about half a block). A 2-post would be handy at times, but the 4 post is more than enough.

I will mainly be lifting the vettes on it and on the new ones you have to lift them only in certain spots on the frame. I am getting the jack kit for it as well so I can run it up on the ramps and then position my jacks under it then.

Here is my lift. It's in my driveway in the front of my house on a busy residential street. I didn't have room for a four poster. I installed it myself, I bought it from an old gas station that was closing here in town. You should see the looks I get when I change my oil when people drive by! I've had strangers stop by and say "where did you get it, I wan't one" etc.
