That place is a gem, far and away the best war museum I have been to.

I'm a war museum junkie. It is good for sure, but it isn't world class.

If you ever get a chance go to

National WWI Museum- Kansas City
National WWII Museum- New Orleans
Air Force Museum- Dayton, OH
Armor Museum- Ft Knox (now closed and the Ft Benning one isn't open to the public yet)
RAF Museum- London
Hotel Invalides- Paris

There are others, but those are the ones I've been to. They are world class.

Bovington
Samur
Toledo
are on my short list

For those that like this one, if you ever get to Austin go to Camp Mabry (easy to get on and CCW is ok) and visit the Texas Forces Museum. It is every bit of good as the 45th, just about TX .mil. Lots of 36th Infantry stuff.

The Marine Corps museum is 100% my favorite museum in the DC area. If you ever get near it, go!
