You all are going to DIE!!!!

Of course, I grew up in the Panhandle, so none of this sounds bad to me, at least for down-state. Now, if the NW Oklahoma area actually gets up to 24 inches PLUS some wind, all bets are off for that area.

Back in 1957, in NW Oklahoma and SW Kansas, there was a real blizzard. Snow drifts in Keyes, Oklahoma up to the eaves of homes. Here is a link to a story of that storm in Cimarron, Kansas, which includes some pictures. The drifts in Cimarron didn't match up to Cimarron County, Oklahoma. I was almost 11 years old and made some money shoveling cars out from under the snow drifts.

Will you please forward this link to all of the news stations and tell them that people having dealing with and somehow surviving these weather events for years!:D That was a good read, thanks for sharing.

I do just fine with my front wheel drive KIA as long as it has 150 loaded pmags in the front seat next to my Rijas custom combat patrol rifle when I'm going out to patrol with my southern community service organization. I'll pass all you people stuck in a ditch with your 4x4.
