Have never just sit down and tried to shoot a group with my 1971 Remington 521. Came across it for a steal a few years ago, it came with an original box of remmy ammo, a full box at that, so I dared not shoot any of them. Centurian fortunately came out with ammo about the same time, anywhere from $16-$23 per 50, depending on where you found them. I just got a quick sight in to use for close range predators and called it good. Found a good deal on some more ammo this weekend so I bought a couple more boxes. Zero wind out today so I loaded up five and walked out to the shooting bench to try to actually get a group. 30gr hp at 90y, first shot was the lower one, the others nestled in together, at 2300fps advertised, I think we got 2270 on the chronny last year when we tested them.
