Didn't catch that they were two different events, still the pics seem eerie, maybe its the lightning.

I've just never seen something like that before. It's hard to believe that something like that happened and was captured on film. Not saying it isn't real, just saying it's wild.

that had to be a hell of an event. i was about 5 miles away from one of the most violent volcano eruptions within the last 100 or so years while a typhoon was blowing through and didnt get to see colors and lightning like that...those pictures have been touched up a bunch.
