7-11 and gun signs

As I understand it, from the OK2A FB post, 7-11 ha basically said you can ignore their no gun signs. They will not remove them but they will not replace them when they "wear out" (Not sure how they wear out). And the staff is not authorized to ask u to leave they say but if they do, it would be best to not resist. "Its okay to walk by our signs with your legally carried gun".

IOW, "we will allow you to exercise your rights, we just don't want people to know we're ok with it."

I almost want to draw some parallels between this and some lighter-skinned folks working the fields in the South back in the early 1800s... but I'll just let it go.

I noticed a while back that the gun buster signs at the 7-11 down the road went away. And being relatively new I really doubt they wore out.

Mmm.... well, they did ask that we don't carry there, they're just not gonna make an issue and forbid it.

Just don't work for 7-Eleven and carry a gun - they'll fire you! There seems to be a fundamental flaw in that somewhere.
