Isn't this pretty much what Starbucks and Target did?
It does sound a lot like it, doesn't it?

No, they said they would rather you dont carry but if you do, they wont make a big deal. 7-11 said its fine to ignore the signs, they're just too lazy to take em down I guess. It does sound a lot like it, doesn't it?
It doesn't work that way. Carrying in. Posted place like 7-11 can only yield a trespass charge if they first ask you to leave and you do not.I suspect the main reason for leaving the signs up is so THEY can determine when to call the law and have you arrested for carrying in a posted business. There are always two sides to every story.

There is no "arresting" going to occur unless it is in a place specifically stated in the OKSDA. Even a trespass charge would require you to refuse to leave the premises and have a peace officer summoned. At which point you would pay a $250 fine and that's it.
No one here was talking about places other than OK I'm pretty sure.In Oklahoma...
In Texas or Arkansas, don't listen to them telling you to ignore it. If you carry inside the store with a sign on the door, I believe it's a felony. I'd have to look it up to be sure, but I'm to hot, stinky, sweaty and tired to do so right now. Could be different in each place, but I remember looking it up once and realized they take their "anti-gun" signs a whole lot more seriously than we do in OK.
