He arrived to find several people on the property, in the act of burglary? I doubt it. There's about a 110% chance that he found squatters on his property, and when confronted they became belligerent.
Good shoot IMO, but it being California...it's almost a given that he will face charges at a later date once the dust has settled. Either that, or his family will face a wrongful death lawsuit. **** California.
