9mm carbine

I have a friend who invites a bunch of folk out to his ranch,,,
The purpose is to spend an afternoon eating and shooting,,,
He will drag an old car out there and we dismantle it.

Since most of the guys use carbines of some ilk,,,
I decided to buy one so I could play as well,,,
Money being a big factor for a range toy,,,
I bought a new 9mm Hi-Point carbine.

Guys, this gun performs in all aspects as well as any gun out there,,,
It never jams, eats any FMJ I happen to have on hand,,,
It seems accurate because I hit very well with it,,,
And it's just by gosh a lot of fun to shoot.

One of the guys has a Beretta Storm,,,
Now that is a very nice carbine,,,
But he hits better with mine,,,
Go figure.

I might have to buy a 9mm Hi-Point pistol,,,
Just so I can have a cased set.

The ten round mags aren't as fun as the hi-cap mags,,,
But what the heck, I just bought a few extras.

With 5 mags I can go through a 50 round box in no time at all.

My point is when I first bought the Hi-Point,,,
My friends teased me to no end.

After a few ranch days using it,,,
All teasing stopped.

I put a flashlight on it,,,
Now it's my bedroom gun.

CX4, Hi Point and a couple of AR 9mm. They are all fun, but the AR platform is my favorite.

Think my first AR might be a high point 9... next one might be a Ruger...
The High Point sounds like alot of gun/fun for the money and ammo is cheaper than 5.56

SSP had one a while back with 3 extra mags for 600. I piddled around too long.

I had a Sterling Sporter that was a blast to shoot. Used 34 round magazines that were a breeze to load.

I got a Hi Point 995TS for a range plinker.
I had been wanting a carbine for awhile and decided to go the cheap route.
It is my favorite gun at the moment.
