Nope, just saying what a person does in his free time does not determine his political affiliation.

You are right it doesn't determine it - but there are many correlations. It is plainly obvious if you have ever been to let's say a Friends of the NRA Dinner versus a Public Interest Research Group (PIRG) teach-in..not all of the former are conservative and not all of the latter are liberal but the correlation is very high. Your one example is merely the exception that highlights the rule.

Ryan does have a nice stock portfolio, wonder though if he used insider knowledge to make his purchases. Too bad we all don't get to know what these power brokers are told behind closed doors. We all could profit then, then perhaps the culture we came from could all be the same.

Perhaps it is just good fortune to on Mr. Ryan's part, since the Dow bottomed out in at 6626 on March 6, 2009 and closed today at 13,169.43 this has been a nice period for wall street. Big business is doing just fine, but perhaps it isn't trickling down.

I guess I have missed it but what is the negatives about Ryan? There realistically is only two choices on the ballot come November, If you really did think Romney/Ryan was such a bad choice do you think Obama/Biden is better? If nothing else voting for Romney/Ryan is voting for the lesser of two evils.

Personally I think anyone who Bow hunts, Shoots, is trying to get a balanced budget passed, and has a pro 2nd amendment voting record is the CORRECT choice of the two options presented.

Romney is none of those things. This "get the ticket elected then hope for death" is really pathetic.
