I appreciate all the prayers and comments guys. I've known Houston and Dylan for over 30 years. I was the one who had to let Dylan know his dad was dead. Toughest phone call I ever made. Death notifications are never easy. Informing a loved one is even worse. But when Dylan arrived he told me, "of all the people who could have told me the news, I'm glad it was you."

Poor kid.

Funeral services for Houston Yeager will be Wednesday, December 4th at 10:00am at the 1st Baptist church in Holdenville. All are invited. LEOs are encouraged to attend.

If you've heard the name, but can't quite think what he looks like, here's a pic of him and his daughter.

Thanks guys, for all the prayers and comments. As well as being a pallbearer tomorrow, I was asked to say a few words about this man. I told them, I don't think I can say just a "few" words. This man was larger than life and meant a lot to me. If I started yammering on about him, we may be there awhile.

Anyway...any and all's precense (especially LE) would be appreciated. :thanku:
