I would not sell it.
I would make cookies and use it and think of my daughter each time I got a cookie.
So sad what happened, cookies can't make it better but cookies are good.
`I agree, but the wife now says she wants to sell it. I think she sees it and it makes her sad. I know every time we go check on the daughters house she cries. Still to raw I guess.

An original 1977 Star Wars cookie jar. Daughter had some other Star Wars stuff too but most is modern stuff like candy dispensers. I just thought the cookie jar is cool.

So sorry for the pain you guys are dealing with. Losing anyone, much less a child, is hard on everyone in the family from my experience. I will say getting it cleaned out and dealt with will help bring a start for moving on.

Yes I agree about the house but a couple of things I would like to keep like the cookie jar and the sword, and a couple of tools I do not have, well, did not have. :P

I bought a replacement scabbard for the sword because I wanted it to be in something nice instead of what I could make as I am trying to learn. I hope someday to find an Asian style dragon template of the right size then I will paint a red enamel dragon on the scabbard since the daughter liked them.

We lost our daughter 5 years ago today. The pain never really goes away, always remembering things we did. We now keep our great grandson one or two days a week. Daughter always wanted a grandkid but passed before this little one came.
