I've ran RS5000s and they are too stiff. I'm currently running RS9000's (adjustable) on my Jeep only because I one them at an event. They're not bad since you can turn them down.

In general, Bilsteins are about the best you can get. I have 5100's on my '72 K5 that I drive on the street and moderate offroad.

Really depends on what type of driving you are doing with said 'yota. If the truck is going to ramain fairly stock then just get some factory replacement and be done with it.
