My thoughts....well....I'm not impressed by the NRA or Heston. I like the message he is delivering, but the NRA does not follow through on their video.
Where was the NRA when open carry was being considered in Oklahoma? I'll tell you- ABSOLUTELY silent! I made several phone calls to local and national ranking members of the NRA...and they claimed ignorant to knowing about the vote, or, gave the politically correct response of "the NRA has chosen to remain neutral". Hogwash!
Why does the NRA give Harry Reid so many compliments and face-time in their magazines the American Rifleman? Have you forgotten that the NRA donated over $4,000 to Harry Reid's re-election campaign fund this year? Yeah....sure, they pondered and waffled for several weeks before finally coming out and saying they would not endorse Harry Reid, then they quietly donated the money to his campaign!
Do you members of the NRA know nothing about the Disclose Act??
Why is the NRA endorsing Dan Boren and an ammunition microstamping study paid for by taxpayers and performed by some government agency that depends on federal funding for day to day operation?? There's plenty of independent research that has already concluded it is not reliable or feasible! I bet the government funded agency some how concludes that if they get more money, and more government employees, they can develop a microstamp that is feasible!! Oh, and think of the jobs it will create...in government!!
