Hey! Small world, I was there at 4:30 trying out holsters, you guys wanna go shoot and hang out sometime? Mostly Hangout?

You win teh interwebz.

To the OP: I wish you had said something. Handling your loaded carry piece to try holsters is totally unsat. I hope it was unloaded, and you just didn't know... but sheesh.

I've taken my carry piece into H&H before, UNLOADED in car first...left all ammo in car... locked action back and showed this to the sales associate before checking holster fitment. I would not do this any other way.

I usually will ask to try holsters with the store guns. They are ok with you bringing a few holsters up to the counter and using one of the guns they have.

But... With my baby eagle the stores generally don't have those and I have brought it in unloaded and asked a sales person what holster would they recommend for this gun.

I don't know that I would confront a person with a loaded side arm who is a dumb a$$ trying holsters out with his Cary piece.

Saw a guy at h&h last week doing the same thing... Employee asked him stop or go to the range to unload before continuing. Guy left, looked embarrassed??

I have done the same thing in H&H before. I did ask for permission first though and show clear before trying them out. Still makes you feel nervous though.
