I kinda just bought one sight unseen online from cheaperthandirt for $367 shipped to B.A.N.G., i'll post a seperate thread once i get it and i'll express what i think of it. Don't want to hijack this thread for that.

The cheapest place I have found for the M&P is Quantico Tactical for $398 and its $348 ($50 rebate) for active, reserve, retired military. The price is so good that im able to get the Pro instead.

I was (and am) a Glock fan. I switched to the M&P when they first came out, and have since shot many thousands of rounds through them. Now that the Gen4 Glocks are out, I'm itching to give Glock another go-round. I wouldn't waste my money a SD9, and I don't care for the XD for several reasons. I would take the owner-to-be to the range to try the M&P and Glock, and let him/her choose after shooting each.
