Have had a full length AR for awhile~ very low on funds but have been heavily debating on trading for an AR pistol in the near future, should I or should I just save and hope to build something in the next couple years?

I agree with the comments to buy parts as you can. There are so many ways to configure an AR it boggles the mind. I'll admit that prices on some factory guns are pretty attractive these days, but most parts can be had over time, and you can decide whether to do it as cheaply as possible, or can build exactly what you want.

And a lot of the time for some people coming up with $50 or $100 at a time is a lot easier than coming up with $400 or $500.

Where are you located? I’d put a couple parts in the pile.
