Am I the only person that misses seeing photos in the classified ads?

people are generally lazy, and they replicate what they see. Lately (last few months) there have been tons of those "text for pics", the deals usually aren't so good to even bother, I figure if a person doesn't have the time to put out a decent ad, then I don't have time either. Besides, I Need to see a $600 glock, cause it Has to look different than the rest of them.

If my intent is to sell a gun and get it done quickly, I'm going to spend the 2-3 minutes to describe it and post enough pics to illustrate the details. Even before I had a smart phone, it only took several minutes to shoot/put the SD card in the computer/ upload to Hunt101 or Photobucket, then post. I don't sell often, but when I have, every gun has sold quickly, and usually for my original asking price.

Unless you've got a smokin' hot deal on whatever you're selling, not including focused pictures will reduce the chances for a sale at your initial asking price.

I'd go further and suggest to the mods that pictures of the actual item be required as part of the listing.
