It seems to me that flying cattle class is all about price. I wonder how much money they were actually making on alcohol sales back there, anyway (apparently not enough to pay for the nuisance).Airlines make a fortune selling alcohol. The cattle class will prevail.
Me too. I flew about once or twice per month for training or projects.I'm just glad I don't have to fly anymore. I did several years where I flew every week and I got to where I dreaded it a lot. And that was pre- 9/11. Never really drank much on the plane, but plenty do, so this could cause an issue with some for sure.
The airlines onboard employees are no longer acting like customer service reps, more like surly gestapo barking orders at the slightest infraction and removing passengers for minor mask infractions.
The masks raise tensions. I know they certainly did for me the very few times I wore one. Compound tension and alcohol served on board or prior to flying, it’s a recipe for trouble.
