if they are legit T57 mags they should be good to go

Doubt that they are legit T57 mags. They were only imported in 91-92 and did not last long. Sellers produce fake mags and say anything to sell them. Stick with USGI and CMI mags. Your battleax deserves better.

IIRC the H&R equipment that Taiwan received to build M-14 rifles did not include the tools to build mags or the flash suppressors.
