It's a cheek riser. Putin wanted a new gun to replace the aging AK so he created an aging AK with a cheek riser to fight the Ukrainians with. It was 3 bullets or a cheek riser and he figured the riser could change the coarse of the war. He's a lot like Biden....except awake.

I was wondering about the buffer tube. Isn’t there an AR upper that can house dual springs on either side of the bolt, a la the Sig MPX? Probably not that particular AR, but my fuzzy memory is sparking a little.

I figured they just drilled the butt stock to accept it. Looks straight enough.

Yea I like it's looks, a lot. I would have to run at least 1000 rounds thru it without a problem before I could say I love it.

I am curious about the crack in the top of the butt stock.
