Better question, how often does the ATF follow suppressor owners to know if said original purchaser has died from the long list of ways to die?

At Shot show in January, Dietelback said they hired more staff, and were going to start batch approving individuals soon.

Got mine back in 2 days after I heard the same thing from my dealer. Crazy what can happen with a few more desk jockeys

I think you go meet your maker. Some people disagree. I honestly don’t know, but I have faith.
As for your NFA items, the law says it has to be properly transferred to an individual who our overlords have determined qualified to possess those items, but you won’t be around to make them do it, and if you are still around, they will use the item on you. Quickly.

Went up to GHArms Monday evening and picked out 3 cans. Gabe had one on hand, and it was approved this morning. Right at 38 hours for approval. The other 2 were ordered so it'll be a couple weeks before they get submitted.
