Interesting.I use an alcohol lamp, just holding the brass at the midpoint and dropping it into water when it gets too hot to hold.
I usually just butter my own, but to each their own I guess...Curious if anyone has paid to have bread annealed.

Easy....just find yourself one of those things that the wife uses on the dinner table that turns round & round. Put the brass in a pan with enough water to cover the head of the case. Turn it with a steady pace. Hold your torch far enough away as to not get the brass too hot and watch the color. Do not let it get red. When the neck starts to change color tip it over in the water. It works. I 've done lots of 30-06 cases like this to make 7.7x58 cartridges.Curious if anyone has paid to have bread annealed.
