just watch the board a little closer, this is everyday fare.
Oh, I know, but it's usually at least a little better concealed. I'm not saying that the execution is unjust, but the degree to which some people are positively giddy, dancing in the blood, is pretty disappointing.

The bloodlust on this board is simply stunning.
. Yes, I'm new here and it seems somewhat disturbing. Sadly my family has had its brush with murder* and justice (the murderer was convicted and got death penalty) was painfully slow (13 years). However, observance of due process is just as important to me as my 2nd amendment right to bear arms. I didn't celebrate when the murderer was executed, I was just finally satisfied that justice had been served. Celebration of death, and or calls for more cruel and unusual forms of corporal punishment seem immature and even latently evil to me.

* The murderer (I won't say his name out loud) is #76 on this list

What you're seeing is not so much a bloodlust, but an outward expression of revulsion for those that would commit such heinous acts. However, I feel any emotion towards murderers such as this one is further enabling their destructive capacity. He's an objective to move through as quickly and efficiently as possible, so you can get to the other side and continue on your journey. Simply put, he's not worth a wasted thought.

What if it were your familys' little ones that got murdered?
Would you still say that? I very seriously doubt it.

If it were my kids, the fella would not have made it this far.

That is precisely why we have the death penalty. In my case I would have killed #76 if we had gotten to him first-we were shocked, enraged, and blind crazy with righteous vengeance. Lucky for me the Edmond PD acted swiftly and nabbed him. Then DA Bob "string-tie" Macy (who was at the crime scene within minutes) and the Oklahoma County justice system worked and the killer was given the ultimate punishment. If, somehow he had gotten away with it, or if we had gotten to him before the law in the heat of vengeance then we would have been up for murder.

It's simple: DUE PROCESS is the only way to protect us from ourselves, and to ensure that the falsely accused have every opportunity to prove their innocence. You can't take one of our Rights and hold it any higher than the rest.

Not going to be the most popular opinion here, and no I am not trolling when I say this:

I have been praying for him.
I will continue to pray for him, his victims, and his family
It is my sincere hope that he repented and that he too will live in the happiness of God for eternity.
