Toured the Tall Grass Prairie Preserve the other day. This little guy about 10” long was in the road.

Tall Grass is a cool place. I thought we had bison down in Lawton... Tall Grass has bison, Lawton has a zoo.

Best time to visit the any of the big bluestem country is in the fall on a damp drizzly day. That big bluestem turns a shiny, purplish hue when it's dormant and wet and is beautiful.
