They look like too much fun and I'd really like to surprise my Son with one. I'd just like to know if they feed reliably and if they are reasonably accurate. Any other thoughts on them would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

I held one of these at a gun shop here in Tulsa.
Honestly, a Daisy Red Rider is more solid.
The reviews that I've read said they were trash.
I think you would be happier with a Ruger 10/22 or for more money, the M&P 15/22.
M&P 15/22 are great little guns and the 10/22 has a proven record.
For cheap plinking, you should give the CMMG drop in conversion some thought if you already have an AR, especially with the sales of these .22lr conversion kits around lately.

I picked one up to try it out. Will have a chance to run a few mags through it on Friday. Will check back in and let you know what I think. It is not the most solid...and I really would like the M&P, just didnt want to shell out the $$ for now.
