News said I40 was closed west of OK city

Don't come out here if its not life or death. I personally haven't left the house today, but my BIL was stuck in his 4wd one ton all day in the Wheeler area, they had to go borrow a trackhoe to dig it out. He said a road grader got stuck trying to get to him; plus the Sheriff of Hemphill county said on Facebook that ALL roads are closed in his county as well as the surrounding 4 or 5 counties, and that his deputies will not come to your call if its not life threatening. All in all, I would stay away from western OK/TX panhandle if AT ALL POSSIBLE
