Yeah, with it manually extracting and ejecting, but not when firing, something keeping extractor from seating fully, but that might also be slide not cycling fully and so extractor not seating with the force you give with your gentle massage with dainty paws....where recoil spring might relax a bit and allow a fuller slide stroke....does it do this when slide not drawn back to a hard stop before release? I've had the same problem with a little Bersa .22 with late ammo from everybody, including CCI, where my older ammo from everybody works fine...and where I suspect everyone or near everyone single sourcing on brass and maybe priming, hell, for all I know, even loading, and something has changed in charge or rim.

It has a very easy slide stroke when chambering a round. Of course, being a blowback design, you don't want a very heavy recoil spring, right?

That depends on slide mass...a heavier slide can do with a lighter spring. The Bersa has a light PPK style slide and has a very strong spring. Something Glocky blocky can go lighter.

Hey! We run a classy joint here! None of that dangling participle crap! "They are supplied with a turd with which to shine and polish." Got that, Mack?

Yep, it was "yes, drill sergeant", "no, drill sergeant", or "**** you, drill sergeant", but always drill sergeant. The females were just as bad. I was outside a chow hall entrance when two female recruits were rushing in for KP, their drill sergeant was there making sure folk showed up and on time, and as one tried to get past the drill the recruit casually said in a chipper manner, "Hi, Drill Sergeant!", and that female drill stopped her in her tracks with a bellowed, "LOCK IT UP!! LOCK IT THE (effen) UP!!! WHEN YOU ADDRESS ME, IT WILL BE FROM THE POSITION OF PARADE REST, AND WHEN YOU LOCK IT UP, YOU WILL LOCK IT UP SO HARD THAT I HEAR ***** LIPS SLAP TOGETHER!!!"

I've heard of leaving the slide locked back helping loosen the spring a bit. Also might look at the other surfaces the slide contacts.
