I'm sure we have plenty of it, don't we?

My favorite driver is Mark Martin. I got lots of 1/24 diecast back then (Elite, Team Caliber, ad so on...) but had to sell everything due to ex. wife related trouble. But I always kept a binder with over 400 trading cards, pictures (some with certification of authenticity), postcards, etc. Cannot tell if the signatures are original or not... but that's not important. But I'm a little bit curious about the value...

If he finally retires, I think I also will retire from watching NASCAR. I don't like this young guns somehow...

Well, what's you favorite driver?

I don't watch much NASCAR at all but have been around racing through the years. I remember when Mark Martin ran this car:

I'd watch if they ran something close to the automobiles you and I can buy at the dealers. I'd like to know which manufacturer builds a car that can take a balls-to-the wall 500 mile race. I know I would be influenced by the race outcomes on which brand I'd purchase.

I've often said this myself. Back when NASCAR started, the drivers drove their own cars on the track. The same car they ran at Daytona on Saturday, was the car they used to smuggle moonshine on Thursday. Now the cars are all identical, except for the engines, but even then, they are so tightly regulated, they aren't all that different.
