I considered it but it's still cheaper to have the slide on my M&P cut for the RMR. I couldn't buy a CORE then sell my now "used" M&P for new cost despite only being taken out to be shot once and not come out taking a big hit.

Depending on what you want done and where you have it done, it starts around $150 up to $170 just for the slide milling. Having the slide dovetailed for suppressor height sights (to co-witness with red dot) the price can climb up to $300 or more. If you have to ship it then you'll have to add insured shipping on top which is one of the reasons I wanted to find a local place. The local price I found is pretty much what it cost nationally but I'll save shipping costs and get it back faster at least.
