Any TV diagnosis/Repair Experts?

i had a tv do that, i took the back off and found something like this

un soldered it and took it to radio shack and got a bigger one, soldered it back in and it fixed it.

I can diassemble and reassemble most firearms; paint, do menial yardwork, and stuff around the house, but two things i don't have a clue about: anything to do with electricity or plumbing.

That is the same problem I had with my Samsung and about an hour and $10 in new parts it was fixed.

Mine was doing this thing where it would take forever to turn on, then sometimes while one it would turn off then back on. Finally wouldn't come on at all. Would be an easy fix if yours had the same problem.

Mine was doing this thing where it would take forever to turn on, then sometimes while one it would turn off then back on. Finally wouldn't come on at all. Would be an easy fix if yours had the same problem.

Yeah, if I wasn't skeered of screwing with anything to do with electricity it might work out.
