I don't follow much football, but in the day I was stationed at Ft Leavenworth Ks, and the Chiefs were the team of choice.
So, I still have an interest in how they are doing.
Been to several of their games, and the sound system at Arrowhead stadium is awesome for an outside stadium.
I am, and have been since I can remember (the first sporting even I ever attended was a KC Chiefs / St Louis Cardinals preseason football game back in 1985. I attended a Royals game that same weekend in '85, which is odd considering which baseball team I root for now!)
Been a Chiefs fan since I was a kid, and my dad has been since they formed. He still has posters of the 1969 (Superbowl) and I think '70 team as well. Nice to be able to breathe after the Herm Edwards fiasco, though they aren't quite there yet. But the progress is looking very good.
Not necessarily a major Chiefs fan but I love to go to pro sports events and having moved from the San Francisco market to the Tulsa area my options are rather limited as to what pro teams to go see. I have a business in Des Moines and travel back and forth on I-35/435/71/44 so their stadium is a logical choice for a place to catch games. And yes, theyre doing great,so far. Better than my other close regional option- Dallas.
