Finally got all of the pieces assembled this weekend and took it to Wilshire to sight it in. Would've gone to Fouled Bore but the wind was a bit more than I'd want to do a sight in.

Browning X-Bolt Max Long Range - 6.5 Creedmoor
Sig Sauer Tango 4 - 6x24x50
Vault Gun Case (took forever to cut the foam for everything)
a few other minor parts

It's a nice shooter, as I've come to expect from Browning. No hand loads yet. I'm not set up for 6.5CM reloading. Sight in was done with Hornady ELD Match 147gr. Got it sighted in for 100 yards, all zero's set on the scope.

Got this today from AIM Surplus. LEO trade-in, Sig P229 in .40 S&W for $369. Ordered Tuesday and it was delivered to B.A.N.G. yesterday (even with the holiday), but wasn't able to pick up until today, all of you who said Patrick was a good guy and easy to work with were right.

Finish overall is better than I expected, a little wear and some scrapes where the holster retention (I assume) rubbed on the trigger guard, but it looks pretty good. The barrel looks like it's been shot a fair amount, but far from worn out.

I need another magazine for it, anyone know of a good deal?

Sig 229 mags here:

I thought they'd have some used ones but apparently not.

Yeah, I've seen all of those above and a couple others for about the same price range. Probably going to come down to best shipping rate.

I'd try a Mec-gar, they cost a little less and the reviews on them are all good... someone said they actually make the Sig factory mags, so same mag for about 25% less. But all I've found are 10 and 14 round, haven't seen a 12 round yet.

Also found a couple of places out of stock for LEO trade in mags for under $20, I've put my email add in them but I'll be surprised if I hear from them.

Thanks for all the suggestions!!
