That could be because they are "handgun" calibers. ???

Would make sense since WM is phasing out all handgun ammo, but they still have clearance prices on several other rifles as well.

Yes. It was $580 plus tax - 630.75 out the door. It looks like the discount is on the in stock Henrys for the .44 and .357 calibers. I did find a brass 45-70 in OKC at the SW 104th St. location, but it wasn't discounted.

FYI - at the WM's that still had rifles in the display cases - several were marked with clearance tags. There is a TON of good value to be found on some Savage rifles.

Well hell, might have to make a little drive tomorrow..

Got a donor for my Riton 6-24X50. Traded an upper for a bull barrel Axis 243 in a Boyd's stock with an awesome trigger job plus cash. Only problem is I'm a south paw and the stock is a right hand thumb hole. So I may see if my wife likes it, or I may try and find a accustock, or just sell/trade it off. Only time (and my wife) will tell.

Holy tall scope rings Batman!! That 1 piece mount is made for an AR. Get yourself some short rings and you won't have to use your chin to rest on the stock.
