62gr bullets came in for my 1000rds of 5.56 NATO brass.

Just received 3000 Zero 230 gr FMJ 45 ACP jacketed (not plated) bullets.......with the several hundred I have loaded, unloaded bullets already on hand and the 3000 that came in today I should be in pretty good shape for a week or two. 
So.. um.. The only thing plastic on this is the butt plate. I'd really like to find a metal butt plate but Google has not been much help on this. Every place I look is either sold out or out of business. Even eBay has nothing. Any ideas?

Sounds to me like a feller that can do the things that you do needs to find a piece of metal and a hammer and get to making one!!
