Picked up a set of twins today from Patrick over at BANG. Putting Bidens hush money to good use! They are citadel warthogs. Got a good price and heard fairly good things about them.

I love it when the stars align and you get all your gun parts in on the same day!

Getting ready for the incoming lowers, the first build is going to be my first PCC in 9mm. Orders from Amazon, MidwayUSA, and Stern Defense all arrived this evening.

Amazon
  • Sig Romeo 5

Stern Defense
  • SD Barrel - 16.1" 1:10
  • Bolt - SD BU9 NiB ECHO (super impressed with this bolt)
  • Mag Adapter - MAG-AD9 (for Glock mags) also has last round bolt hold open
  • Comp - SD CB9 MOD1
  • Buffer - H3
  • Buffer Spring - Wolff carbine spring

MidwayUSA
  • Action block set
  • Hogue grip & stock
  • Vltor buffer tube
  • Castle nut
  • Mil-spec charging handle
  • 15" M-Lock handguard
  • CMC 3.5lb single stage flat trigger with anti-walk pin set
  • small misc. things (more grease, 30mm barrel nut wrench adapter, etc.)

The only thing I have left to get is an end plate. I thought I had one laying around somewhere, but cannot seem to find it now!

I got the upper put together a using a dedicated billet 9mm receiver I purchased from an OSA'er several weeks ago. I'm very pleased with the fit and lines at the upper/handguard junction. Just need those lowers to arrive and we will be in business!

I just ordered a tapered one from http://www.abetterbeltusa.com . Talked to them on the phone to get exactly what I wanted. It takes a couple weeks to get since they are made to order. I'll let you all know how it works out..

They give this sizing method.

Ordered on 3/18 and delivered today. Exactly one week. A week ahead of schedule.

This is a very stiff belt but also very comfortable. 1.5" tapered to 1". I can bend over without it cutting in. I did the measurements as they requested and there is plenty of adjustment left in both directions. Oh, and my holster also does not slide around on this belt.

The buckle is changeable and secured with Chicago screws. They also included an extra Chicago screw in case one were to get lost.

Got the RMR01 all cleaned up, fresh battery and torqued with blue Loctite to 20 inch pounds. Slaved it to my irons and ready for zero tomorrow or Saturday. Wished it was a Type 2 06, but for 350, I couldn't say no.

I think I'm going Tucker gun leather brown on brown so I can carry it with the TLR7A.
