Anybody going to the okc show this weekend?

Hopefully its better than lastweeks R.K Show, I went there looking for 3 specific guns, Rem. 700 in .308, a Rem. 870 tactical, and a M1A, didn't find either one,, couldn't believe it..

Should've made the drive up to the Wanenmacher show. I saw several M1A's, including a nice standard pre-ban SAI with carbon steel barrel and high GI content. I'd have snagged that one if I hadn't been negotiating a deal on an International Harvester M1 Garand.

I went 4 or 5 years ago to Claude Halls, it was 50% non-gun related. Is that still the case?

I quit going to Claude Hall's shows two years ago. If it's him or Metcalf, I stay at home. Not worth going to.

I'd say that it was 75-80% gun related today. I didn't see any deals worth grabbing. Used guns are being offered for $100 over what i can buy new from Academy...

It was better than the last metcalf show I went too. The Rijas guy gave me lecture on how Obama wants us to import non standard yugo AK's opposed to standard Ak's so the parts won't be interchangeable. I didn't have the heart to tell him that Yugoslavia just didn't want to pay the Russian's the licensing fee to make an exact copy, so they to had tweak the design just a little bit. Same goes for the Polish Tantal AK74 variant.

I saw a CAI Tantal ($800+) & I think a Saiga in 5.45 no idea on price.
