Doing research on dot scopes for my SBR. Looking at the H1, but would like to hear info on the Trijicon SRS. So does anybody have any real world experience with one or both.

I have a T1 and an SRS. Here's the pro's and con's on both:

T1
- Extremely light weight
- Amazing battery life (5 years)
- Very tough
- Requires a mount for use on AR
- Takes a common watch battery, but not as common as a AA battery

SRS
- Solar panel that extends battery life
- Built in mount
- Nice big tube
- Very tough
- Takes a standard AA battery
- A little on the heavy side
- Sunlight causes glare

To be honest, the SRS is a lot more comparable to the CompM4 in weight, price and battery type and even then, I prefer the CompM4. I run a T1 on my SBR and find it to be very adequate. When it comes down to it, I would stick to aimpoint when it comes to RDS. But that's just me.
