I saw one around 1:00 AM. Watched for about 15 minutes and the one was all I saw. It was faint, but left a trail that was visible for two or three seconds.

I only saw the two. Couldn't stay awake long enough to wait until the peak.
Here's the view from my son's pasture just north of Valliant. I only saw a few, and didn't get any on my camera.
One thing many people forget is that they radiate from that point. They may not enter the atmosphere for quite a distance.
I was out from about midnight until 5AM. Beautiful night to take the laptop outside and get some work done (and have a couple of cigars). Even with the light from the laptop screen, I was able to observe several, sometimes as many as 3 within a minute.
