Every Tulsa resident ought to protest against her at this event! The bad thing is, as has been mentioned on another thread, the big cities usually carry the weight and end up ruling for the whole state

Considering the bold, italicized, part of that last quoted sentence above, every Oklahoma resident (who supports their second amendment rights) ought to protest Kathy Taylor at this event.

I won't vote for her, that's for damn sure.

I use to work for the IT company that supported Vanguard (former owner of National and Alamo Rent-a-car, prior to their 'abrupt' sale to Enterprise. A whole other story of Lobeck's "charming personality") and I had the privilege of supporting Mr. Lobeck on several occasions. We frequently referred to him as the little d!ck in the big office. The guy is a true gem, let me tell ya.

He owned a Bentley, which he knew nothing about except that it was expensive. He also had a private parking spot at the front of the building. Apparently one day mister fancy pants wasn't coming into the office till 10:30 or so. That same day, some individual had an interview and I can only assume was running late, so the whipped into an open spot by the door.

Now, I don't know if they just didn't see the sign, or didn't care, but either way, apparently it pissed Lobeck off so bad, that he parked his Bentley sideways behind them, blocking them in, and refusing to move till the person went to his office and apologized to him personally. I believe I also heard he made sure they weren't hired as well, because of said parking spot.

Seriously? FOAD pal.

I know little about Ms Taylor aside from her being strongly anti-Second Amendment. I will say that if she approved the article in the OP that she has some problems. In addition to displaying a poor command of written English, the bio fawns over her. To present yourself to the public in this manner is strange.

The Tulsa County Democrats are sending this out:

Democrats,

In the coming weeks, there are many ways for you to get involved. Our County Convention coming up soon. We need you to take a leadership role in your community. Our strongest force to help elect strong leaders is through YOU.

The best way to get involved is to jump right in. A great first step is to come out to Kathy Taylor's Kickoff event and hear how you can help bring creativity, energy & common sense back to City Hall!

Notice the part about common sense? Now, where have I heard that lately? Oh yeah, it immediately precedes gun grabber's rhetoric demanding gun safetycontrol. Coincidence? I think not.
