Haven't seen anyone post on quail hunting which opens tomorrow. I hunt mainly in Kansas but I have heard there are a few around down here. If your going good luck.
I'm right in the middle of deer season. I think my Britt knows what time of year it is. He bounces around like a new puppy when I head for the truck.

My girls and I are getting a little long in the tooth these days. Loved it in the days past though.
You gotta get back into it. Quail are at the highest numbers in many years, and the exercise will do you good! 
My last pointer (of 7) died in 2002. I'll never own another. I hope you guys that stuck it out get so flustered by flushing birds you barely shoot a limit!
I've stayed out of it as well as the landowner I hunt on. The birds were poor, and It wouldn't help to hunt them, so we quit.

We got 6 roosters and 4 quail in kansas, saw 4 coveys. The pheasant numbers were down from last year, at least in our area. Time to head west and light em up, good luck to all the bird hunters!
