I've seen the various legal kits for this but have no idea of the reliability or which is a good choice.
Are talking about putting a Roni? Or Micro Roni on it? I’ve seen them, but have not tried to convert. The Extar EP9 is $400.00. Most 9mm PCC are are pretty reliable, and affordable. I think I’d go that way if I was in the market. Just my opinion mind you.

Well I saw a guy in one vid had added a brace to a 17 and it wasn't an actual "upper" like some of the conversions are. I'd be too worried about reliability with one of those that the gun must be inserted into.
I had a CAA Roni briefly, the one with the arm brace. Sold it before I ever tried it out.
I have not and I don’t have much interest to try it. Modern slide mounted optics get you most of the benefits one of those kits would offer. Especially at the indoor distances you’d be using it.
Those kits are a waste. The only thing worth getting is a flux defense brace. Doesn't add much bulk and it could actually be carried. I own one and everyone that uses it wants one.
