Anyone like big lever guns?

i just got my 460 S&W lever gun from Big Horn Armory today. It is a beast!

Fooled around with a .450 Alaskan and .450 Marlin some. Curious to see how much velocity you gain out of a rifle barrel vs. pistol.

The factory Hornady 200gr is rated at 2200 fps out of a pistol. Guys are saying they get 2800-2900fps out of a rifle barrel.

At first I thought you were talking about a lever action with a big loop. Have you shot it yet?

I haven't shot it yet. I have shot my Thompson Encore pro hunter with a 20" 460 S&W barrel. It's a hoot.

Question ... How is the fit and finish? Lot of folks have been jamming on Marlin/Remington for their quality. What's your opinion?

This gun cost over $3,000. How good do you think it is? Haha!
