Anyone not plant their food plot yet?

I was out of town 2 weeks ago when we finally got rain, so I didn’t get a chance to plant then. Now I check the weather each day and see no rain in the forecast. I’m hopeful I can plant something in the next few weeks, but the forecast isn’t looking ideal yet. Planting wheat so guessing it’ll come up around Nov if I plant in a few weeks.

Anyone else not get around to planting due to the weather?

Yes and no. Wanted to plant alfalfa but didn't, too dry and no rain in sight. So I planted some extra wheat seed I had and year old beans. Three other plots I'm just not going to plant for myself or another guy.

Was going to plant this weekend. As I worked ground today, I was trying to talk myself into waiting another week or so then BAM! Tractor broke down. That settled that. It will be at least next weekend before I plant now.

I usually plant a couple of different 1-acre food plots each year, but with the lack of rain and the ground being so dry and hard, I probably won't plant anything this year.

I dusted my wheat in a couple weeks ago but haven’t been back over to check on it.

I’ve got two plots ready to plant here in TX but won’t until rain is coming. I’m supposed to plant a plot in east central Oklahoma but am waiting on rain there too. At this point, there’s a better than average chance that I won’t plant anything at my place in NW Oklahoma.
