I agree the hi-po cars are probably better vehicles on the surplus end, but a charger?
These things literally fall apart with soccer moms driving them. I would hate to buy one thats been "abused" at whatever level a LEO has put them through. This aspect is really where the CVPI can shine, there is still going to be plenty of car left in the after-life.

Ive got a 03 crown vic ex-TPD K9 car. only problem i had was the ac compressor going out. other than that, which was a relatively easy fix, its been a good car.

The Chargers have a short civilian life. I would imagine a well worn police package Charger would be a ticking time bomb. I would rather buy a Crown Vic with 200k miles than a Charger with 80k.

everytime I think of someone buying a used black and white. I think of The Blues Brothers.

It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?
