Every time the subject of her looks comes up, I am reminded of this conversation. It may not come across as funny, but it was hysterical to me at the time.

So I'm talking to a female friend, and I say when you were young and dating, did you ever meet someone who was okay looking... not necessarily terribly attractive, but the more you got to know and like them, and the closer you got the more physically attractive they became? She said YES... and by the same token, she had met guys who she thought were "hot", but they turned out to be jerks and as she got to know them they became physically LESS attractive.

I said nope, doesn't work that way with guys. You may not want anything to do with her, but hot is hot, and while you'd never have anything to do with her, you might be MORE than happy to look at her. We both watched a TV show at the time called "Lost" which had a character named Kate (Evangeline Lilly), who was a bit of a flake, but was very pretty. The more you learned about Kate, the less you liked her. But I said they can put her on my TV screen all they like, I might not like her but still enjoy the view.

Later, I was telling a male friend about this conversation, and he said no, I agree with her. A woman who is a flake becomes less physically attractive. He watched Lost as well, so I used the same example of Kate... very pretty, no matter what she has done. So I told him I gave her Kate as an example.

He says, "What's wrong with Kate?"
I said, "Well... Kate is a bit of a skank."
He says, "Well.... being a skank isn't necessarily a BAD thing...."
I literally screamed, "THANK YOU for making my point for me!!" :pms2:

He just laughed and it ended the argument.

I just hope AOC wears granny panties. They make much more effective gags than butt floss does! ;)

I agree with your wife. Carrie Underwood is gorgeous in looks, but being a vegan, CW singer, anti gun and a dumbocrat makes her ugly to me.
