I finally decided on the safe that I wanted, and went up to Sportsworld to buy it.

Not only was the Fatboy Jr gone, but about 60% of their safes were gone.

Is anything immune from this crazy buying time?

I, too, have seen a "run" on safes. At my local Academy, there were no safes on the showroom floor.

I talked to a friend of mine at SCI and they are beyond busy. Yes panic mode has hit the safe business.

Bear safes are about a month wait regardless of model as of this post.

Check Atwood's for the fat boy safe. They have a them on special every few months.
Edit they are 1099.99 this week. I think they were $899 day before thanksgiving.
